Oakwood Municipal Court (Montgomery County)
Oakwood operates its own Municipal Court which is part of the County and State court system. The Judge is elected and serves a 6 year term. Court hearings take place at 30 Park Avenue in the same chambers that serve City Council. The Oakwood Municipal Court hears all misdemeanor cases, arraignments and traffic violations, as well as preliminary hearings on felony cases. The court also hears small claims civil cases.
