Reminder: Energy Aggregation Information Session – December 17 Oakwood residents are invited to an Energy Aggregation Information Session on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room at the Oakwood Community Center (105 Patterson Road). City staff will provide updates on the natural gas and electricity aggregation programs and answer any questions. Residents are encouraged to bring a recent gas or electric bill for reference. Free Community Document Shred Event

It’s time to get rid of those papers you’ve been saving! Bring the items to the J. D. Foell Public Works Center at 210 Shafor Blvd. on Saturday, August 30, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Shred-It will be onsite, providing document destruction services.

Shred-It can destroy paper documents, microfilm, microfiche, and other confidential materials. All items will be shredded on-site beyond recognition. Recyclable materials will be processed into new paper products, while non-recyclables will be securely disposed of.

To participate, please remain in your vehicle and place all materials for shredding in your trunk. Staff will unload them and transfer them to the shred bins. Residents must present identification to verify residency.

This service is free of charge. Don’t miss this opportunity to dispose of your confidential documents securely!
