“Lighting Up” Oakwood

The city of Oakwood, with assistance from the Oakwood Beautification Committee, is “LIGHTING UP” Oakwood with luminarias on Sunday, December 12 beginning at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to put luminarias out in front of their house and to consider participating with their neighbors.  This event brightens the entire community at the onset of the winter holiday season.  Luminarias will line the Shafor Boulevard.  The committee encourages neighborhood participation and hopes to see many citizens joining in the festive beautification effort.
