Far Hills Storm Sewer Reconstruction Project Update – 10/24

Posted on October 24, 2023

The top priority is roadway, curb and associated site restoration along Dellwood between Far Hills and E. Schantz, and along the east side of Far Hills heading south from Dellwood.  City staff has applied heavy pressure on the contractor (and concrete sub-contractor) to complete this work as soon as possible.  The restoration schedule is as follows:

  • Wed. 10/25-Thurs. 10/26:  Replace concrete curb on the south side of Dellwood and along the east side of Far Hills.
  • Thurs. 10/26:  Begin replacing concrete roadway panels along the south half of Dellwood.
  • Week of 10/30:  The south half of Dellwood opened to traffic; replace concrete curb along the north side of Dellwood, along with concrete roadway panels.
  • Week of 11/6:  Dellwood swept and reopened to all traffic.

Storm sewer work along Devereux Drive is expected to begin during the middle or latter part of the week of 10/30.
