Project Highlights:
Kinnison Excavating has made significant progress in Phase 1 of the Far Hills Storm Sewer Replacement project, which covers Dellwood Ave. and extends across E. Schantz Ave. Despite some delays due to gas and water main conflicts and inclement weather, the storm sewer installation is now nearly complete in this phase. The team has also commenced the restoration process along Dellwood Ave.
Upcoming Work:
- Additional Tree Removal: Further tree removal is planned for the 1313 Far Hills lot and along Far Hills to ensure a clear path for construction activities.
- Dellwood & School Parking Lot Curb and Roadway Restoration: Restoration work, including curb and concrete roadway panel repairs, will begin on the 100-block of Dellwood Ave. and within the south parking lot of OHS/OJHS in the next week.
- Far Hills Roadway Restoration: The right lane on northbound Far Hills will be rebuilt within the project limits. Work is set to begin in the next week.
- Phase 2 – Devereux Drive: Originally scheduled to begin sooner, Phase 2 has been delayed by a couple of weeks due to unforeseen obstacles and delays on Phase 1 along Dellwood Ave. Phase 2 excavation is now expected to begin during the week of October 16th.
