Kinnison Excavating finished demolishing the existing home at 1313 Far Hills the week of July 31. They then began with performing small excavations along Far Hills Avenue, Dellwood Avenue, and in the parking lot on the south side of OHS/OJHS to verify locations of utilities that the new storm sewer pipe will be crossing. Kinnison then installed the storm sewer between the school lot and Dellwood Avenue, working very carefully between two homes. They are making great progress so far despite encountering a few unforeseen conflicts. City officials are pleased with Kinnison’s workmanship and professionalism thus far!
It is anticipated that the crews will have the school parking lot fully restored by the end of the day Friday, August 11, after which they will shift their focus to installing storm sewer in the northbound lane of Far Hills early next week.
