Human Relations Commission

The Human Relations Commission investigates facts surrounding any alleged offense dealing with unfair real property practice.  The Commission attempts to eliminate misunderstanding and resolve conflicts between complainants and respondents.  The Commission investigates complaints and, if needed, conducts hearings to address the complaints. After the hearings, the Commission files a written Findings of Facts.

MEMBERSHIP:  A minimum of three and a maximum of five members, at least one of whom shall be an attorney.  Members are appointed for five year terms. The Chairperson is appointed by Council and shall be an attorney.  The Commission is on call, meeting only when needs require.
