Seasonal Gardner Swimming Pool Manager

General:

The City of Oakwood is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Pool Manager at Gardner Swimming Pool. The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the manager is expected to participate in all tasks and duties from opening to closure. Reporting to the Internal Program Supervisor, this is a working supervisory position requiring weekday, weekend and holiday work.

The maximum wage rate for the position $16.48 per hour, with the starting rate dependent upon previous experience.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have knowledge of operations of aquatic facilities, and experience supervising aquatics programs is preferred. Individuals must hold and maintain American Red Cross Lifeguard training certification or the equivalent, and the requisite First Aid and CPR qualifications.  Certification as a Water Safety Instructor is desirable, but not required.
