PART-TIME RECORDS CLERK
PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
The city of Oakwood is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Records Clerk serving the Public Safety Department. Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of clerical work supporting the Chief and Captains; maintaining public safety files and reports; answering phones and providing information; receiving the public and answering questions. The Part-Time Records Clerk utilizes modern office equipment and must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Applicants must have a high school diploma and have general experience in performing varied clerical and support work.
Work hours will be a set schedule of 16 hours per week, Monday-Friday, to be determined at hire, with the potential for additional hours to cover for vacations or as circumstances warrant.
Current pay range is $17.98/hr. to $25.74/hr. Entry rate is contingent upon applicant’s skills, knowledge and abilities. Benefits offered for this position include vacation, sick leave and paid holidays, as well as membership in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
