Reminder: Energy Aggregation Information Session – December 17 Oakwood residents are invited to an Energy Aggregation Information Session on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room at the Oakwood Community Center (105 Patterson Road). City staff will provide updates on the natural gas and electricity aggregation programs and answer any questions. Residents are encouraged to bring a recent gas or electric bill for reference. Shafor Park is Oakwood’s largest recreation complex, includes 3.3 acres of playground, a small ball-field, a half basketball court, six tennis courts, and an outdoor pool. A special feature of Shafor Park includes a ground-level fountain where kids can play on hot summer days. The shelter house can be reserved for family or group picnics. Shafor Park is located on Shafor Boulevard and Patterson Road. Activities include summer day camp, tennis lessons, Ice Cream Social and Family Fall Festival. Next to the pool and Shafor Park is the Oakwood Community Center.
