Reminder: Energy Aggregation Information Session – December 17 Oakwood residents are invited to an Energy Aggregation Information Session on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room at the Oakwood Community Center (105 Patterson Road). City staff will provide updates on the natural gas and electricity aggregation programs and answer any questions. Residents are encouraged to bring a recent gas or electric bill for reference. What are the regulations for parking campers and boats?

Section 901.5 of the Oakwood Zoning Code outlines restrictions for parking oversized vehicles on residential lots.

  • An oversized vehicle is any trailer, boat, camper, or vehicle that exceeds 7 feet in height, or 7 feet in width, or 20 feet in length.
  • Oversized vehicles are not permitted to park on residential properties.
    • An exception may be requested for a maximum of 7 consecutive days; the oversized vehicle  must be parked on pavement in the rear or corner side yard. Contact the Zoning office at (937) 297-2920 to request an exception.
