The Special Olympics “Flame of Hope” passed through Oakwood on Thursday, June 22. Chief Hill, Detective Ballinger and PSO Payne participated in the torch run that started at the Centerville Police Department and travelled north on State Route 48 ending at the Dayton Police Department.
The Torch Run travels through 150 Ohio communities creating awareness and raising funds for the Special Olympics program.
