Oakwood residents are able to purchase Oakwood Community Center and Gardner pool memberships. Non-residents may purchase a Health Center membership at the non-resident rate. Call the Oakwood Community Center at (937) 298-0775 to check the shelter’s availability. Completed forms and payment are required to reserve shelters; dates cannot be held and are non-refundable or transferable.
‘That Day In May’ is always the third Saturday in May.
Yes. The tennis courts are on a first come first serve basis. The Oakwood High School Tennis team uses the courts at the Oakwood Community Center for matches and practices. The team schedules are always posted at the courts .
Gardner Pool opens daily from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Due to school starting, the weekday hours beginning in August are usually 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Gardner Pool opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes on Labor Day.
The Health Center at the Oakwood Community Center is open: Monday –Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday – 12 noon to 5 p.m. Please note that hours may vary on holidays.
