The city of Oakwood’s Department of Vital Statistics issues death records (dating back to 1909) for people whose death occurred in Oakwood, Ohio, and certified birth certificates (abstracts) for people born in the state of Ohio (dating back to 1908).
The fee for all certified records is $30.00 per copy. We accept cash only, except for Oakwood residents and funeral homes, or payment may be made through the city of Oakwood’s Online Bill Pay.
To obtain a copy of a birth/death record in Oakwood you may visit our office in person. Completion of the Vital Records Application is necessary to ensure that you receive an accurate record for your request.
