Spring Styrofoam Recycling Event

The city of Oakwood is partnering with Green Oakwood to provide a spring Styrofoam recycling event for the Oakwood community. Styrofoam will be collected at the Recycling and Yard Waste Drop-Off facility located at the front entrance to the J. David Foell Public Works Center, 210 Shafor Boulevard, on Saturday, April 12. Watch the city’s website and Green Oakwood’s Facebook page for collection hours. Green Oakwood will transport the collected Styrofoam to the Montgomery County Environmental Services Styrofoam recycling event.

Aside from Styrofoam recycling, the Public Works Center will be open that day for mulch pickup consistent with the article on this page. No other Public Works services will be available that day.
