What are the city’s rules about pets?

Residential properties may have up to four kennel pets over the age of 4 months (kennel pets means cats or dogs). Can residents have chickens in Oakwood?

Raising and keeping chickens is not permitted in the city of Oakwood. Residents who have chickens on their property for any purpose are in violation of this ordinance. Violations should be reported to the Code Enforcement Officer by calling (937) 297-2920.

What are the regulations for parking campers and boats?

Section 901.5 of the Oakwood Zoning Code outlines restrictions for parking oversized vehicles on residential lots. An oversized vehicle is any trailer, boat, camper, or vehicle that exceeds 7 feet in height, or 7 feet in width, or 20 feet in length.
