Taxpayer Assistance

If you would like the Income Tax Department to prepare your 2020 Oakwood income tax return, you must include a completed Tax Return Completion Request form (below) along with all applicable documents.  Please address your envelope to include:    Attn:  Taxpayer Assistance.  Documents may be mailed or placed in either of the city’s drop boxes (located in the city administration building or in the alley across the street.)  We will mail you a completed return for your records.

All requests must be received in our office no later than April 8, 2021 in order for you to timely pay the amount due.  For documents that are being mailed, please allow for sufficient delivery time so that your request may reach us before the April 8, 2021 due date.  If you are submitting documents after this date, we suggest that you estimate any tax that you may owe and submit a payment on or before the April 15, 2021 due date in order to avoid any penalty and interest charges.
