Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee helps preserve the setting of the city by encouraging landscaping on City and private grounds, promoting general beautification throughout the City and coordinating environmental and horticultural programs including Tree City, USA and Arbor Day.  The Committee offers advice on horticultural and environmental concerns and assists in implementing the annual Johnny Appleseed Street Tree Planting Program. The Committee also helps with related educational and environmental promotion programs.

MEMBERSHIP:  16 citizen members serving three year terms, a City Council liaison, and two Staff liaisons.  The Committee selects its own Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary annually. Meets on second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
