Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals hears and decides on appeals to orders, requirements, decisions or determinations made by the Building Commissioner based on the city’s Zoning Code.  The Board hears and decides upon conditional use permits and variances to the Zoning Code. The Board considers the facts of each case and input and comments received from citizens at public hearings.

MEMBERSHIP:  Five members who are citizens holding no other city office or employment.  Members serve five year terms. Board elects a Chairperson annually. Board meets on second Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m.
