Property Maintenance Board

The Property Maintenance Board has the duty to hear and decide on all appeals and variances filed under the Property Maintenance Code.  The three members from a district shall hear the appeal or variance pertaining to any property within their district.  A person who files an appeal or variance has the burden of proof.

MEMBERSHIP:  Membership consists of 24 persons. The Board consists of three members from each of Oakwood’s eight voting precincts.  Members serve five year terms. The Board selects one member to serve as Chair. The Board also consists of a staff liaisons. The Board is on call, meeting only when needed.  The Board normally meets one time per year, in April or May.
