Be a part of the Annual Scarecrow Building Contest! The City is hosting this fun-filled, family event...but we need your creative energy to make it a success! Last year we had 30 families, neighbors and groups working together to make Scarecrow Row a sight to behold! Get your group together (your family, neighbors, Brownie Troop, co-workers, etc.) and build the best scarecrow you can! When you register to build one, you will be given a location around town to place your masterpiece...for all to enjoy! Entries will be judged on creativity and originality and prizes will be awarded to First, Second and Third Place in addition to the Mayor’s Award. The Scarecrows will be judged the day of the Family Fall Festival on October 8, 2023.
There is an application linked below or we have them available for pick up at the OCC. We cannot accept entries by phone or email. We must receive the application in person at the OCC. We will not hold any location and we must give out locations in order, according to our list.
